About the class
Bi1x provides students with an introduction to concepts and laboratory methods in biology. Molecular biology techniques and advanced microscopy will be combined to explore the great ideas of biology. This course is intended for non-biology majors and will satisfy the freshman biology course requirement.

- 4/14: The readings and prelab for Week 4 have been posted.
- 4/2: The Powers of Ten assignment will be due in class on April 13th, at 7pm sharp. *** Correction: April 12th, 7PM
- 4/1: Instructions for mounting Snowdome, the class fileserver are on the links page.
- 3/30: Office hours will be held 8-10 PM Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please email the TAs ahead of time if you are planning to come. If the lab is locked, call x1764 and we'll open the doors for you.
